A NEW GENERATION IN BOAT BUILDING

It all started in 1945 in Indiana. Grandpa Lossie Rinker designed, built and raced the first “Famous Craft” boats.

In the 1950s Lossie’s son, John Rinker, took the helm changing the company name to Rinker Boats, a thriving boat company today.

Lea Rinker, daughter of John Rinker, launched her all new company bringing back the legendary name of Famous Craft in honor of her grandpa.

Originally, located in Sarasota, FL. Famous Craft has now moved to its new facility in Anderson, SC.

The future looks bright for the Famous Craft family.  Having specialized in building flats for the past 5 years, Lea Rinker has now begun to launch yet another full line of offshore, bay, cruisers, fishing flotillas, and pleasure boats.
